The Ysis profile

In order to provide you with a natural vision at any distance, all of your personal data, consisting of information on your eyes, your glasses and your spatial perception, will be compiled and adapted to the chosen frame. Data on prescription values, the best lens progression to suit your needs, your vision habits and your priorities are calculated, blended with the unique features of the Ysis design. All personal data, taken together, add up to your personal vision profile - the Ysis profile. The result: Ysis - your personal, natural vision, lenses. Following you can see two possible examples of an Ysis profile:

Example 1

Example 1:

A middle-aged, strongly built man is a low ametrope. His PD (pupillary distance) measures 34 mm on the right and 36 mm on the left. He wears the spectacle frame of his choice 12 mm in front of his eyes on the nasal bridge. Ysis is not only his first choice of progressive lens, but his first-ever pair of glasses! When he sits down to read a book comfortably, he tilts his head slightly to 19° (head inclination). He attaches great importance to a good long-distance vision.

Example 2

Example 2:

An older lady is hyperopic and wears progressive lenses for over 25 years now. Her PD measures 64 mm. She places her glasses low on the nose, therefore she has a long back vertex distance (BVD) of 16 mm. She uses eye movement rather than head tilt for reading, head inclination measures only 7°. She would like to improve her near vision with Ysis progressive lenses.
