One of the most modern production plants in Europe
The summer of 1998 saw the start-up in Bamberg of the Rupp+Hubrach production plant - one of the most modern in Europe. High-value investment commitments and many months of reconstruction work have created a plant which we believe is unsurpassed throughout Europe. Our "First-Class" brand quality is the assurance of top quality products.
Intelligent communication systems
From the moment the order is recorded right through to dispatch, our superior products are accompanied by state-of-the-art communication systems. The installed Rupp+Hubrach online is currently the fastest way to place an order and our evolved logistics enable us to supply all standard products overnight. Although one-off productions take a little longer, our specialists are able to meet the short delivery times demanded by the customer by continuously optimising our processes.

The environment and our commitment
At Rupp+Hubrach we feel responsible for resources and invest a great deal of money in environmentally compatible technologies, a task for which we have been receiving awards since as early as 1989. For example, we save up to 70% water for cleaning the spectacle lenses by means of UV oxidation in our highly-modern ultrasonic washing units.
Several closed water cycles in the production and refinement processes likewise considerably reduce water consumption
The Rupp+Hubrach Award for Ophthalmic Optics
In cooperation with colleges in Aalen, Berlin and Jena we have presented our R+H Science Award for outstanding student achievement every year since 1990.
Since year 2000 a cooperation exists with two more partners: FH Berlin and FH Jena.
