Rupp+Hubrach are delighted to report they have again been voted “Best Lens Supplier” in a German opticians’ survey.

The independent survey, conducted regularly throughout Germany since 1991, took place this year in August. Over 2000 opticians representing 25 per cent of all Germany’s optical practices – were asked to evaluate 13 different suppliers in a number of categories, including among others “Product Range”, “Product Quality”, “Market Responsiveness” and “Customer Service”.

R+H was founded (by lens processing experts Mr Rupp & Mr Hubrach) in 1922, in Bamberg, South Germany, where its present-day laboratories are still located. These laboratories, which house R+H’s lens research and development HQ as well as production and customer services, are among the most modern in Europe, and have been the source of outstanding recent innovation such as YSIS personalised progressive and single vision freeform lenses, the SPORTS lens range and Nanoperl and Purlux premium coatings.
